The evening seemed to be getting off to a good start. He hadn't noticed any disappointment on Zev's face as they greeted each other. He was hoping that meant there wasn't any. "Unfortunately no one's seen fit to give me a nickname," he joked. He supposed one could chose to call him Al but no one ever had.
He followed behind the attractive man to the booth. Sitting on the other side so that he could face his date. "I've never been to this one in particular," He pointed out as he smiled at Zev. "But the food that's come out of the kitchen has smelled amazing." He had already taken to getting a drink. It wasn't wine but that didn't mean he wouldn't have some with dinner. "We should get a bottle then."
