She quirked her eyebrow up at him. She'd told Mitch she could fight, and had told him that she'd been trained by her parents. She'd neglected to clue him in about just how good her training had been. As he didn't have reason to suspect that she'd been trained by Vampire Slayers and professional fighters, she could forgive him for saying he'd go easy on her.
And maybe he'd end up being better than her after all. She wouldn't know until they went at it. Either way, she figured she'd probably end up telling him more details about her parents and her training once they were done here today. She didn't often get serious with men, but it did seem like she and Mitch were headed toward something more serious than she was used to.
"I promise not to go too hard on you either." She winked and tilted her head to the side to crack her neck. "You want to warm up and I'll meet you on the mat?"
