Penny quirked an eyebrow at the mention of the Queen of Monstropolis, making sure to file that away for later. To be fair she didn't actively make it her mission to piss anyone off, but it would at least behoove her to know who to be extra careful around. "Long enough," she decided after hearing Tea's answer as to how long she'd been in this reality. She knew people or knew of people back home who'd travelled through time and/or space, so it wasn't an alien concept to her.
She followed Tea's fingertip as she pointed out the nightlife. These weren't just questions just for the sake of it, she genuinely was curious. "And as for work and living arrangements? I prefer to earn my keep even if I might be restricted by hours." She tongued one of her canine teeth out of habit. "I owned and operated an," she rolled her eyes thoughtfully in an attempt to be tactful (although she strongly suspected that she didn't need to be around this woman), "adult store back home."
