"I'd... really appreciate that," Blake replied with a grateful smile. She was glad that she had her kids with her, but worried about Gwen. Zelda had asked 'where's momma!Gwen?' (they were Momma!Gwen and Momma!Blake to their kids) and Blake's first instinct was to lie and say 'Not far'. She only hoped that that was true.
"What's your name, stranger?" Blake's first instinct was to protect her children, so she took Zelda's hand so she didn't stray too far. "I'm Blake. And this is Princess Zelda," Zelda beamed, "and Prince Loki." Loki looked at the stranger blearily. He was well passed naptime by the look of him. Of course, it should go without saying that the kids weren't actually royalty, but children were always treated that way by their parents. Or at least in Blake's fortunate life.
