He's a total asshole, he was already out of my life. But really, I'm okay with that. Honestly, I am not sure that I'm okay with my mom being in my life. Not very hands on. I am. It's not something I tell everyone but if someone asks me about it I'm open about my sexuality. You tell who you're comfortable telling, your family doesn't need to know unless you want them to. I'm sorry your family is like that, I only recently met my parents after thinking they were dead for the longest time, there were some bumps in the road but they're both there for me in their own ways. In my experience the family you make for yourself can be better than the family you're born into. I really miss mine, both my real family and the one that I built out of those closest to me. I'm just glad I have two of the most important people in my life here with me.

I'm serious about if you want someone to talk to. If you want to grab coffee or something just let me know and we can make it happen.
