"The targets are just over there." He pointed her toward the corner of the garage, where three targets were pushed up against a wall. "We'll only need one for today, though. If you can carry that, I'll gather up the bows."
And that he did. As they made their way from the garage into the backyard, he chatted amiably with her. "I've been an archer since I was very young. I learned from my father when I was still a lad. It's served me very well throughout my life."
