Skids was more than thankful for Dean not trying to poke into her past with her mother. It actually caused a noticable relaxation in her shoulder. Finally, someone that understood that secrets were okay, that pushing was not always helpful. Her head perked up when he asked the question about the school. "Hm? Oh, yes. Of sorts. It was a school for and a home for gifted young people." She realized that would probably raise questions so Sally made sure to have a response that did not include reveling that she was a mutant. Her mutation was nothing to be ashamed of, at least here anyways, but there was a way Dean looked at her. Like she was a normal girl with a dark past, no pity, no fear. It was something she did not want to lose from her new friend.
The talk of company had Skids thinking, maybe she should ask him to stay. However, that was short-lived. It was hard for her to fully let people into her life, let alone into her room. She would keep that thought to herself, "I would be alright with that." The blonde offered as he suggested visiting, "it's nice to have someone to chat with. And after this someone to train with, other than Logan." Sally offered a light corner smile to Dean as they waited for the elevator to reach the right floor.
