Sally looked back over to Dean as he spoke, at least him being kind of awkward helped her lack of social skills. Made it easier knowing that it was not just her that could be weird. When he spotted her looking over his room, her cheeks burned again. She shook her head lightly and replied, "oh no, I was just judging the size of it compared to mine. I'm downstairs in a two bedroom."
When he made the gesture, Skids did everything in her power to not tense up or flinch. It had been years since someone actually laid a hand on her but the memories were still fresh in her mind, they always were. Dean was not like that, or at least she thought he would not be. He seemed much like Logan, checkered past, tough exterior but is actually extremely sweet. The blonde made her way out of his doorframe and back into the hall turning towards the elevators. As they walked she was ecstatic to hear him start the conversation, something she was horrible at.
"Good. Just been working out and exploring. I hate to say it, it's rather boring here. You'd think space would be more exciting. However, back where I'm from... I guess I shouldn't complain." Sally made a face as she looked down to her feet. She needed to stop bringing up stuff that would make her a downer when it came to socializing.
The mutant quickly took the subject off herself, "What about you? Anything new happening with you since your arrival?" Her eyes trailing back up and over to her friend.
