Prim waited and gave her sister time to absorb everything. When she picked up on Katniss's agitation, Prim began to rub soothing circles on her sister's back. "It's okay," she said soothingly. "You're safe here. We both are. We're safe with Robin and Regina in a nice house away from President Snow and the Hunger Games and the war."
Prim had grown up so much since her name had been called at the Reaping that day. She'd had to. Just as Katniss had been forced to grow up after their father had died. So had Prim when her sister had volunteered to take her place, and unknowingly ignited a rebellion.
