While normally a sunny and extroverted woman, Lorelai had spent the first few months of her time on Galador not reaching out very much. Sure her life in Stars Hollow hadn't been perfect, but she'd worked damn hard for it, and hated that it had been taken away from her.
Her real saving grace, of course, had been Rory. Wasn't it always? Rory had helped her get settled in and the two found a home in Sunnydale. Lorelai got herself a job running an inn there, and slowly but surely she started trying to get her life back.
Her life would never be complete without friends, however, so she was more than pleased when her network post seemed to result in the beginnings of a few friendships for her. Taako in particular. Even if all his talk of cooking did make her miss Sookie something fierce.
When she opened the door, she was dressed casually. A pair of comfortable jeans and a dark blue sweater that brought out the color in her eyes. Her dark hair fell loosely around her shoulders and her feet were bare. As she took in Taako in person, her eyebrows shot up slightly. She quickly recovered, however and gave him a little bow back.
She couldn't wait to tell Rory about this later on.
"Now that is how you make an entrance," she smiled warmly at him. "Welcome to Sunnydale, Taako. Come on inside."
