Something's Wrong Who: Neely and Morgan, OTA Where: Outside Stark Tower in Freedomtown When: Early Saturday Morning What: Neely and Morgan realizing something is amiss Rating: TBD
Since they both had a hankering for coffee, Neely and Morgan decided to go to Java the Hutt to indulge in a cup. They'd left Rachelle in bed to dose, planning to bring her back a travel cup on their return. Rachelle wasn't much of a morning person and neither woman dared to wake her before it was absolutely necessary.
Anyway.
The pair barely made it outside Stark Tower when Neely... noticed something different. Something off. She might have noticed it sooner had she not been preoccupied with completely waking up to face the day. She stopped in her tracks, her grip on Morgan's hand tightening just the smallest bit (which was unusual because she was actually very strong).
Morgan stopped walking as well, her brow furrowing. "What is it?" She asked, concerned.
"I'm not sure yet..." Neely tilted her head up and scented the air. As a werewolf, normally she could smell just about anything, whether it be the scent of Morgan's perfume a foot away or the smell of someone cutting grass over three blocks away. Today? Nothing. She looked inward, trying to call wolf inside her. Again, nothing. "I can't--something's wrong. Can you sense it?"
As a witch, who had trained and taught herself empathic abilities, Morgan tried to reach out to try to get a better sense of what Neely was feeling. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. She blinked. "...This can't be good."
