RP: Meaghan & Kirley Who: Meaghan & Kirley What: Kirley talks to his sister about Stuff Where: Their parents' house When: Oct 17th, afternoon
Kirley had been summoned to his parents' for breakfast, and though he'd thought about refusing one didn't really say no to his mother. Catriona McCormick had a history of getting what she wanted, and that included all her children present for breakfast at least once a month. For Kirley, that usually meant not going to bed the night before and sleeping all afternoon in the sunroom of the McCormick estate. This month's breakfast was made more complicated by his new security detail, but he'd played the good boy and followed protocol even if it made his skin itch.
Currently, he was lounging on one of the extremely comfortable couches, arranged to maximize exposure to the afternoon sun (what little of it there was in Scotland in October), while his babysitter's stood guard wherever they thought best. He had a tumbler of his father's best scotch at hand, and low music playing for atmosphere.
He was trying his best not to think about anything in particular, when he heard someone else come into the room. Since his guards didn't rush to action, he assumed it was someone non-lethal to his person, and when he opened his eyes he was proven right.
"Do you think Mum will try to bake our guests a cake? And if so, should I warn them to be wary of inadvertent poison?"
