Dirty Dancing: Mags and Liadan Offshoot Who: Mags and Liadan What: A confession Where: The Royale's Washroom When: Thursday, December 21st Rating: PG
Being certain to keep a hold of the other girl's hand in their mad flight Mags bursts into giggles releasing it once inside the limited safety and sound dampening effects of the wash room. "I'm so drunk! This is so wild. You're awesome," the belle drawls with a giggle
"Me too! This is so much fun." Liadan giggles right back, moving over to the mirror to check her hair. "Do you need to go?" She gestures at the stalls.
"Pshh!" A dismissiving wave was given to the facilities. "No, I just need to catch my breath and freak out a little bit," the girl laughed dampening a paper towel to dab lightly around her neck and shoulders.
"Freak out?" Liadan tilted her head slightly to one side, still smiling widely.
A wide smile wilted a little at the edges the thoughts she wouldn't dare share with another falling from loose lips, "I think I might be a lesbian." Wow! There that was right out there. So much for preamble or set up, Mags remarked to herself mentally
Liadan stops. Then blinks, thinking about it before smiling. "That's great~." She smiles. "What made you think that?"
A startled look of confusion struck the ingenue as the realization that there might be nothing to fear occured to her. "I just had an amazing dance with a gorgeous, charming man that would be any teen girl's wildest fantasy, but nothing...." A wide gesture indicated her form in general.
"Locke's not to your taste?" Liadan seems amused and she gives Mags a hug once she sees the confusion. "I think it's perfectly natural. To follow your heart wherever it leads." Her words are slightly slurred, but she's being honest.
"Well I haven't tasted him yet, but I bet Blaze tastes better by far," Mags slurred dreamily panicking when her own words drifted back to her. Apple cheeks flamed as hands rose in a halting wave. "I mean her lips... I mean on her mouth... "
Liadan just gives her a light squeeze before, pulling back enough to cup Mags' cheeks with both of her hands. "It's alright. Don't be embarrassed. Blaze is really nice."
A spinning head rested in pure trust within those life giving hands. "Really?" The wonderstruck word carried relief from months of secrecy. "I mean yes she is," she giggled cheerfully quickly followed by a dreamy sigh.
"Just because Locke doesn't do it for you though, don't assume you're lesbian." Liadan smiles. "You could be bi-sexual? But either way, I'll support you Mags. Because what is important isn't... sexuality. It's feelings."
Hazel eyes sparkled with devotion sparked from a deep feeling of acceptance. "Thank you." Wrapping arms around Liadan a slow, tight, emotional hug was given. "That means so much to me."
Liadan hugs her back, smiling. "You're welcome. Any time." She presses a friendly kiss to the other girl's forehead. "You're a good person, Mags. You deserve this happiness."
Glowing beneath such tenderness a quiet nod of acceptance was given to the wisdom and compassion offered. Why should she not treat her own feelings as she would Liadan's or anyone else's? There was no reason the rules should be different for herself. "Thank you." Cupping a pale cheek in a butterfly soft hold a gentle kiss was given to the wonderous redhead's other cheek.
Liadan smiles, tucking a strand of Mags' hair behind her ear. "Are you ready to go back out?"
Taking a stabling breath Mags nodded bravely. "I just wish she was here," she pouted adorably on her way to the exit. Just shy of the opening a light hand was placed on her new best friend's arm for a quick clarification, "This is just between us, yeah?"
"Of course," Liadan promised, smiling at Mags and crossing her heart. "I promise."</font>
