Absorbed in the rhythm of sweeping text across the page, even the motion on her drawing hand had been forgotten until the faintest of noises reeled the Empath back to the world surrounding her. It had been so long since she’d allowed herself to be that focused on a solitary thing that returning was a bit disorienting but it wouldn’t show on her features. A slight tightening of muscles released upon Liadan’s voice entering the air and curious crystalline eyes searched for their source. Had it been a perfect stranger this would be considerably more awkward and though she didn’t know the girl by any measure of the word, her presence was refreshingly positive and brought a sense of comfort.
