Ethan turned around and smiled at Piper. "Good morning!" he replied in a very warm fashion. "Nice and early eh?" he asked her, his smile turning brighter. "Never a bad time for learning" he added.
The other students started to filter into the classroom shortly after and he waited, greeting people as they came in with either a short wave or just a pleasant smile and a nod. He wanted to make his students feel comfortable, he didn't want them to see him as anything to fear or be angry at really. And hopefully today's lesson was going to go ahead as planned and if not?, he'd run with it and see where it went.
He clapped his hands together to grab attention from the people who were chatting among themselves. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen... I am your new teacher, Mr Webber" he said, still leaning back against the desk. He looked to the side and picked up a register. After a thoughtful look, he returned his attention to the class. "Okay, this is nonsense, at least for today... I'd like you all to tell me your names, starting with... you" he said, pointing to Piper. "What's your name? Tell me what inspires you?"
