Who: Lillian and Ethan What: A date When: Friday 10th Feb Where: Ethans place
Ethan had been preparing the meal for at least an hour and time was running out. It wouldn't be long until Lillian was there. At least he had the flat looking reasonable. It was a rather minimalist job with cream coloured walls and bare wooden floorboards, coloured a nice deep auburn. The furniture was simple and black, the coffee table glass. There were a few plants in pots, a standard looking television set and a cd player. There wasn't much to the place but he hadn't lived there long enough to really decorate or do anything with the place. Besides he quite liked it the way it was.
He had lit a few candles around the place, made sure it was aired out. All the little things that just seemed to add up. And he wanted to make a good impression. Make it something romantic. Of course, he was nervous. Not as badly as he thought he might be but still, his heart was racing.
He dashed over to tend to the food. Not much longer. He gave it a quick taste test before putting the lid back on the pot.
