WHO: Jason and Áedán WHAT: A Job Offering WHERE: The Library WHEN: Monday Afternoon
Though most people believed Jason didn't pay attention or showed interest in the people who surrounded him this was far from the truth. Especially when it came to the people who came to his library. He watched them like a hawk making sure they didn't leave their gum under the large ebony table where people could study or read or worse, under, or on, the many different chairs that were in the library. Most people respected Jason enough to not do so but whenever he did catch someone leaving a mess there was hell to pay.
Of course Jason had noticed Áedán's frequent visits and at first he had been weary, as he was with every new person who came around, yet this young man was very unlike the other people that came. For one, he never checked any books out, but then again Jason hadn't given him a library card yet as he wasn't a member so that wasn't so strange, no, what pleased Jason was that Áedán always placed his books back and, while doing so, also did this with the books other people had left lying around.
As this used to be Thomas' work and Jason had fired said young man just a week ago for not doing his job and liking how “That weirdo is doing it all for me” Jason was now looking for a replacement. Instead of hanging up flyers though he just headed over to where he saw Áedán placing books back onto the shelve. “Excuse me,” he waited politely for the young man to notice his presence and that he was in fact addressing him, “Would you perhaps be interested in earning money with that? You see.... We need a new stocker and I’d like to offer you the position if you're interested.”
