Kaidan moved back when she did. He was glad she seemed so happy. At least that something... If the child wasn't wanted then things could be tricky. What if she wasn't ready? Had he known back then he wouldn't have been ready, he knew that for certain. But he had a feeling Hannah was going to be okay. He just worried. And that was all right, that was understandable. But he felt as if he should have been closer to his daughter, to understand her completely so for now, he just had to trust her.
"I'll be there for you. For you, your partner and your child" he said with a nod of his head. What self respecting Father wouldn't? And boy did that feeling dig in deep. He would not repeat those mistakes, not ever again.
Kaidan smiled a touch and clapped his hands together. "Can I get you something to drink?" he asked, walking over to the fridge. "I've got orange juice and... grape juice. Actual grape juice, not some sort of nickname for wine" he said, taking the carton out to show her.
