Getting out the bell peppers and mushrooms to cut up for dinner she looked over her ingredients and counted them making sure she had everything. "You're right. It was about time for you to just relax a little."
She heard the concerned tone in his voice and appreciated it though she wanted to assure him straight away that she was fine. "I do but there's no need to worry. I like to think of it as good news and it's big news but you're the only parent i'm telling because I just don't want that woman in my life again thinking she can just come onin and demand me aound and tell me what i'm doing wrong and how i need to do this because just because she went through it doesn't mean she's an expert."
Realising she was ranting she bit her lip and looked down appologetically. "Sorry about that. I didn't mean to it's just ... well hormones i guess. Logan's noticed i've been all over the place lately as well and I'm sure i'll make sense soon." Taking a deep breath she looked at him slightly scared for his reaction. "I'm pregnant, dad. We didnt plan it but Logan and I are both happy about it."
