I fell apart, but got back up again And then I fell apart, but got back up
Clo hated seeing him like this. Hell she hated seeing any of her charges this depressed or hurt and yet it seemed that of all of them, Pollux ended up in this position for more often than any of her other charges and far more often that she ever cared to see him. And while she was not the best company at the moment given the fact that she felt almost as depressed as his writing led her to believe he was, she was going to do her best to see to it that he cheered up at least a bit in anyway possibly. Most would probably tell her she was nuts for what she was planning but as far as she was concerned it was a long time coming what she was doing. Pollux had suffered enough and she refused to see him do so any longer. If this would help him to move on and hopefully make him feel better. That or it was only going to make things far worse. Either way she had to try something. She couldn't stand to keep seeing him like this. Which was why as soon as she finished writing to him she closed her eyes and focused on the bond she had with all of her charges and in a flash the Hall of Souls melted from around her and she reappeared again...in the middle of a field. Blinking Clo glanced around her for several moments before she spotted him a few feet away from her, lying in the snow.
Sighing softly she covered the ground that lie between them quickly and knelt down next to him. Her hand brushing a bit of snow from his forehead. Her heart broke every time she saw him like this and yet she felt as though it were personally her fault that he ended up like this. He was her charge. She was supposed to take care of him and look out for him and yet it seemed as though she had let him down more often then not. The one thing he wanted more than anything, the one thing she knew he wanted, she couldn't give him. And gods did she wish that she could give it to him. She had felt horrible the day she and her sisters had had to take Irma from him and she had felt horrible every day since then but there was nothing that she could do about it. Her body had been beyond even their help and so they had done the only thing they could think of for her and in the end it had hurt her charge more than she had ever wanted to do. Clo kicked herself more often then not for not being able to do anything but now perhaps her project that she had filled her spare time with to keep her mind off of things would help him. It was the only option she had left.
"You'll catch a cold if you continue to lie in the snow, Pollux." Leaning over she grasped his arm and tugged on it firmly. "Come on, sit up. I need to talk to you for a moment before we leave."
