Who: Xavier and Pollux What: Another reunion! Where: Pollux's home. When: After his visit with Alphard on Sunday. Rating: Could get high. No lies. Status: Closed/Incomplete.
For quite possibly the first time in weeks, perhaps months, Pollux was thrilled right down to his toes. Four arrivals in one day, and three of them, he swore, were a gift to him from the fates for what all that he had had suffered recently. Walburga, without a doubt still hated him, and so he would give her her space as much as he didn't want to. His son Alphard on the other hand, still exactly the way Pollux remembered him, had arrived, and in Pollux's own home. He had meant to tease the boy mercilessly, but found that he had missed him far too much, and simply wanted to see him, speak with him, and just revel in the fact that he was there at last. All four of his children together here, a first for all of them since Mira had been born, and it was exciting to be surrounded by those he loved more than anything else on earth. When he and Alphard parted, it was with a bit of reluctance, but there would be tomorrow. An eternity of tomorrows.
And then, as he checked his journal one last time before he retired, he had happened upon an entry with both a familiar hand and a familiar tone, and his already thrilled toes curled almost immediately in anticipation. Xavier was here. As his fingers trailed over the writing as it appeared to him, Pollux spoke his name aloud, debating whether he should invite the other over, but it was only moments before he realized that he could not resist it. Not that he ever could. Xavier was, for lack of a better word, delicious, and if he looked anything like he had around the time of their affair, then Pollux certainly wasn't about to pass up this opportunity. Not a chance, even if this ended up as being just a welcoming drink and conversation, at least the company would be good and familiar.
Anxious for his friend, he sent one of his aptly titled 'harem', Jonas, a pretty dark haired, light eyed thing to recieve his guest when he arrived hoping that would somehow hurry him along. To give himself something to do, Pollux readied the drinks, bringing out two bottles, one containing whiskey, the other, bourbon, along with two glasses all of which he placed on his bedside table as he perched himself in one of two overstuffed chairs next to his bed to wait for Jonas and his old friend to arrive.
