Who: Lucius and Draco What: A Long Overdue Talk Where: Draco's house When: Backdated to Friday Rating: Not too High Status: In Progress
Although Draco had been on the islands for a long time, he and his father really hadn't had much time alone. They had both been busy and had just never really managed. It was something Draco regretted. There was a lot that happened when Draco was growing up. There were times when he idolized his father, and times when he nearly feared him. There were also rare times when he loathed him. Back then, he really didn't understand the things that he did now. Now he found himself wishing that they were closer.
Draco was also more than happy to have his house back. They lived very peacefully at his Grandfather's house but it was more than time that they had their own place yet. He even stopped by The Hall of Souls, something he did often, to tell his son where they were going. He never mentioned these visits to anyone and they always hurt him, but still he went.
He was taken out of his thoughts by Hettie, who brought a serving tray with some cheese, crackers and fruit. She also had set out the firewhiskey and wizard star. It was really she who insisted on snacks as well, thinking it unwise to drink on an empty stomach. She was, by far, Draco's favorite servant. He thanked her as she set the tray down, hearing the doorbell ring. Hettie nodded and went to answer while Draco popped a grape into his mouth before standing up.
