Isaac completely understood why Derek wouldn't want to tie Malia up, and Isaac couldn't say that he disagreed with him. The idea of it made him uncomfortable, and even if they wanted to chain Malia to a wall somewhere, there was nowhere to put her that would guarantee the safety of the people around them. All Isaac could really do was pray that their work on her control would pay off, and he was relieved when she texted him telling him that she was coming over. He didn't want to force his supervision on her, but he wouldn't have to justify it if she was the one insisting upon it in the first place.
He had text Derek as soon as he knew she was coming over to have him watch the front door, because although his roommates weren't around right now it didn't mean that they wouldn't come home early. It also didn't mean that Malia would lose control and try to escape, and if that was the case he wanted someone watching the exit. He heard her call out for him when she arrived and the sound of her voice broke his heart; that wasn't like Malia. She must have felt so vulnerable in that moment, and Isaac truly didn't know if he would be able to help or not.
He walked downstairs and saw her standing in his living room. Instead of speaking Isaac took her hand and immediately led her up to his bedroom, because if she did damage he'd rather her do it to his things, not the rest of the house that everybody shared. He closed and locked the door behind him when they entered and led her to sit on the bed, kneeling before her to stare at her seriously. "Breathe." He spoke firmly, easily hiding just how uncertain he was about all of this. This could all go south very quickly. "What are you feeling right now? Talk to me."
