WHO: Clay Danvers and Elena Danvers WHAT: Talking WHEN: Monday morning WHERE: Their townhouse WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Closed/Ongoing
Clay couldn't say that he was glad to be here, but he was glad to be behind the walls of this place. He'd had some close calls in the year he was out there, and was glad to sleep a little safer than he had when he was sleeping rough. Sure, they weren't perfectly safe here, but it was a step up. And Elena and Kate were here - which made him more nervous in some ways, but made him feel a thousand times better in others. The women in his life were strong as hell, and while he was willing to give them his protection whenever they asked, he knew inside that they didn't really need it.
He woke up, and went to take a shower, feeling that he could never really get the dirt from being out there off of him, even though he'd bathed a dozen times since then. Then he went downstairs and mixed up some ingredients for pancakes, humming as he did so. It was just like at home, in the pack house, and for a moment, he felt home again.
