So then your point was to make a post to point fingers at people who were pointing fingers.
I understand why it seems like people need to 'defend' defense but that's not the case. We're stepping up and telling the people of this camp that our job is to keep them safe. We're putting ourselves in that position willingly and telling people that they need to blindly trust strangers who say they can protect them based only on our word.
We must hold ourselves to a higher standard. 'Good enough' isn't good enough. 'Just two but not three or four or five' is not good enough. Unless you're going to strive for perfection, you shouldn't be putting yourself between citizens and danger because that means you're not going to try hard enough. We answer to the people. It's our job to listen when the people have a problem with us, because this isn't about 'pointing fingers' or 'being mean', this is about making sure they don't die. They should have a say in it. Everyone should. If we couldn't take criticism and change ourselves to adapt to the way those we protect need us to be, then we wouldn't be a defense team. We'd just be a bunch of idiots swinging at bad guys and hoping for the best.
