CAITLIN.
Somebody has to make it all work, but I don't think anybody here can.
I think about it sometimes. If something happened and something came in and just destroyed everything and I couldn't stop it, if it got to everybody because it was too big or too fast or too powerful. What would I do? I'm the Flash. All I can do is run fast. When something like that comes, all I'd be able to do is run away, Caitlin. But if I know everybody is going to be gone, would I even want to? If I did I'd be the only one left anyway, what kind of life is that? So would I run or would I just stay there and let it happen to me too?
This place is bigger than us. What happened isn't anything we can solve in a lab. It's nothing we can trace. And I'm starting to feel like it's just toying with us. Two bodies, and we don't know how it happened. It could have taken more. It will. What's the purpose of The Flash when there's nothing left?
