Yeah, I do. I think that those of us who have been here patrolling for months and never seen the outside beyond the day or two we were out there before finding camp (in my case, I never saw anything out there, literally nothing and no one) need to be taken out of the camp once in a while by a small group of people with experience out there. The only way to get exposure to the threats we have out there (so that we know what we could be coming face to face with instead of just patrolling one day and bam! zombies are a thing in my life) with any relative safety is to do it like that. I can't speak for Sam Winchester, but I have never been outside the camp and while I'm sure no one would've stopped me going out alone to explore, I shouldn't have had to. I shouldn't have to risk my life to find out what's going on out there when there's experienced people going out every couple of weeks as it is. There's no reason some of the other Defense guys shouldn't have already been doing that, but it isn't a thing. That's the only idea I've got.
