So far, her patrols at camp had been pretty boring and routine. Sure, Jessica understood why they were important, but that didn't mean she enjoyed them or anything. It was still better than being outside the camp on her own, she supposed, even if she did have to be more careful with her alcohol supply.
Movement near the gate caught her attention and she was instantly on alert. This fog was creepy as fuck and she couldn't really see who or what was out there. She thought she saw fur, but it was impossible to tell. She was debating walking over to that area for a closer look when she heard a voice call out.
"Who's that?" she called back. She hadn't met everyone in camp, but she at least knew the names of the people who were there.
