Joey felt even worse when Clarke said that that rough life was the only one she'd ever known. Joey herself couldn't imagine that and she felt both burdened and blessed by the fact that she knew what she was missing by being here. Someone like Clarke would have an easier transition from home to the camp, but that wasn't necessarily a good thing, in some accounts.
