Mental note, research malmute. Caitlin kept looking back at the dog. It was really quite attentive on the two of them. She wasn't sure if that was normal or not. Weren't dogs supposed to be distracted by the simplest of things? A noise only they could hear, or some random dust mites or something? She knew they could be smart, but this seemed odd.
"So, you're saying someone on defense helped you sneak in a massive dog to try and hide in the complex." she summarized, running her hands through her hair in frustration. Awesome brother points, without a doubt. Not so awesome when you considered that someone on defense had gone behind the backs of everyone else. "The problem then isn't with the fence, but with the people." She had no idea who this girls brother was, but it probably wouldn't take long to figure out. She could likely just ask Caroline or Pepper. One of them would know the answer.
"You can see my point, can't you?" she asked hopefully, looking at the woman and trying to understand why she thought her choice of actions was even a little logical. "I get this camp has people keeping secrets, it's really not that hard to see. But there's no reason to keep this. Everyone benefits from being aware of the dog. Even the dog. At least then he can run around behind the fence, and defense could look for supplies for him."
Caitlin didn't want to be the bad guy here, she wasn't trying to be. She was trying to be logical, and none of this made any sense. Which is probably what frustrated her the most. Caitlin had a high exposure to weird, but this was irrational. "I'm sorry. I'm not trying to make your life difficult, but I have to say something." Her plans to practice outside of class definitely seemed to be derailed.
