Caroline smiles a little at that - and it's warm even though she still seems a bit guarded. She hates that that's how she is now, guarded. But it's been a long year and a half and it's wearing on her. "He does that to us too," she starts and pauses a little before doing her best Steve. "You know what, Forbes..." it's clear from the tone in her voice she's fond of him, he's quickly become that big brother that neither her or Joey had.
She motioned to the guard posted just outside the door she stood as he walked over. "Can you go get Captain Rogers please?" she asked. The guard glanced between the two women before his gaze settled back on Caroline as he muttered something about quarantine not allowed visitors. Caroline stood a little taller and pressed her lips together as she looked at the guard, probably no more than eighteen and repeated herself. "Captain Rogers, can you go get him please."
When the guard left the room Caroline moved to sit in front of Natasha again. "How long were you out there?" she asked.
