003: Sunrise: Kimber It was later than she'd thought. Kimber had been spending a lot of tone on the studio, working on her next album. It was the middle of the night when she finally locked up. As she left the building, she noticed one of the street lights had gone out, and the parking lot was nearly pitch black. She lifted a hand to her ear, touching the Jemster earring. "A little light, Synergy?”
Pink and purple lights flooded down from the streetlight, just in time for Kimber to see a shadowy figure quickly emerge. She opened her mouth to shout more orders to Synergy, but her lips were quickly covered by a damp cloth with a sickly-sweet smell. Despite Synergy’s light show, things quickly went black.
* * *
There was something cold touching her face. Her eyes shot open quickly, but it was dark. It took time for her eyes to adjust. There was someone in front of her, his hands touching her face. Kimber’s shoulders jerked slightly. "Where.." her voice sounded strange, and her throat was dry. Her whole head felt foggy.
The figure in front of her leaned down to look at her on an even level. Something inside him quickened, though it couldn't have been his pulse. His heart had stopped beating a week ago. Still, there was a rush he felt as he leaned in to lick blood from the cut on Kimber's lips.
Kimber's arms and legs were bound to the chair, so she couldn't kick the guy like she wanted to. She snarled at him, trying to hide the fact that she was actually pretty freaked out by the situation.
Bitter, he thought, swishing the blood around his mouth like he was doing a wine tasting. He could still taste the chloroform. Maybe it would have been better to knock her out using more traditional methods, but he couldn't bear the idea of actually hurting her. He felt bad enough about dropping her on the ground after he’d knocked her out.
It would be such a waste to drain her when her blood was still bitter. She could be so much sweeter. He knew she would want him to savor her. He stroked her hair, seemingly unaffected by Kimber's struggling against the rope. "We'll wait," he said, gazing into her angry eyes. "We'll make it perfect." He leaned in and kissed her lips, smiling when she bit him. "Soon, my pet. Soon."
Kimber was struggling to get her voice back enough to scream. "You deluded psycho," she hissed, coughing at the pain in her throat. "Let me go!"
The man grinned, his sharpened fangs showing. "Don't worry, darling. We can be as loud as we want and no one will hear us." He could feel his body tire, muscles starting to stiffen. Dawn was approaching. "I need to sleep, " he told her, stroking her cheek. "You should try to relax too. I'll be back tonight."
He kissed her goodnight before walking into another room. While he wanted to spend every moment for the rest of eternity in her presence, he didn't want her to see him fall asleep. It looked kind of kooky, and even though he knew she loved him unconditionally, it was still kind of embarrassing
Once he left, Kimber started straining against her bonds again. She was tied to the chair, and her wrists were handcuffed. She'd been kidnapped before by the Misfits and their goons, but this guy was insane. He was talking to her like he thought she liked him. Why would she like a psycho that tied her up? And were those fangs? If she could just reach her ear... She tried tilting her head to her shoulder to activate her earring, but she just felt it scrape against her skin. The earring was broken. What now?
