Sigyn’s smile was small but satisfied. “I hear things. I remember the interesting ones so I can pass them along to you.” To Sif, and to Loki. Loki was the source of most of her jokes and stories…..but there were many times where a quiet and inoffensive woman could happen to be in the right place to hear all sorts of things, and sometimes Sigyn had the pleasure of telling her husband something he hadn’t yet heard. No matter her source, however, anything she thought would make Sif laugh Sigyn told to her. She was never embarrassed or shy about it….everything she repeated amused herself, as well, and little was as wonderful as a good laugh.
“I’m glad I was able to top it…..” Now Sigyn was beginning to laugh, unable to resist the giggles so close to her side. “I wanted it to at least be as good as the last one. The one about the flowers and the meadow and the maiden…..I thought that was a good one.” Laughter lit up her face, working in tandem with the heat and the mead. “I couldn’t wait to tell you that last one, though!”
