George actually flinched, and it took a moment for him to realize that she probably didn't know who he was, that he was the patron saint of Crusaders. It had been the Christian's who'd done it, and that was apparently enough in her mind.
George couldn't blame her.
"I'm not here to-" he swallowed, and started again. "I'm only here because I used to live in the area, a long time ago, and because the Christians here now are praying for assistance. This is a turbulent time, and you can hardly blame them. But I'm not here to start any kind of war, or hurt anyone."
It took a moment for something else to register, and he asked, "Your temple? This is a tea house, no offense meant."
