ooc: :( Sorry to hear that! I hope you're feeling better now? And welcome back <3
Well, if she already had the dirt to bury them, it would save him the trouble of finding it. He always liked when other people did the research for him. He was the Internet, after all.
He noticed she only mentioned old gods. Did that mean she had specific targets already in mind? Interesting that she was so willing to attack her own kind. Joshua saw them all as one big category and didn't often distinguish between pantheons beyond that. And she was included in that group.
He couldn't blame her for wanting to target her own kind. He had a few of his own he would like to see squirming. Those who had not done him any favors in the past and during his rise to the top.
His glass was empty when he clicked it down onto the glass table and he pulled the laptop towards himself.
"Let's see what we can find, yes?" He smiled and cracked the computer open. As it awoke, so did the ethereal glow in his eyes. "It will just take me a moment. Please, help yourself to another drink." he offered graciously.
Then he was gone. Not gone from the room, but his awareness branched out, firing along hundreds of thousands, millions of different lines. He spared one tendril of consciousness for where his physical form sat in his penthouse with her. He didn't trust her, and wouldn't leave himself exposed and completely unprotected.
While he was searching, and the talking stopped, the mortal plugged in in the other room could be heard shouting obscenities at the large flatscreen he was watching his game on. The machine gun and grenade sound effects could be heard better as well with the help of a sub woofer and surround sound installed to completely envelope the player in his virtual world. A world he would be occupying forever soon.
On the door down the hallway that led to the game room was a single polaroid with the mortal's likeness, pinned to the wood with a single push thumb.
