Joshua smiled slightly at the request. He knew how to make one, though he'd never done it before. Such was the gift of endless information stored in cyberspace. One just needed to ask and the answer presented itself. Since he was both the question, and the answer, it came to him with ease and the clink of ice in the empty glass was followed by the KahlĂșa, vodka, and a hiss of bubbling coke to top it off. One slow stir and it was complete and he turned back to the couch where she had settled herself.
"Dirty Black Russian. Someone you know?" he teased lightly, offering her the small glass.
It amused him, though initially he had been irritated by it, that she had welcomed herself so freely into his home. Amused him because it was a ballsy act of familiarity that they barely shared with each other. Irritated him because he liked to remain in control. However, once again, his curiosity was overcoming his arrogance, and he allowed it, also hoping she didn't take his question about the Russian as anything but teasing rhetoric.
He returned to the bar and poured himself half a shot of straight vodka, not bothering with anything to sweeten it up, actually just wanting something in his hands since it was considered rude to be on your computer while having a conversation with someone else.
Then he sat across from her on one of the white leather chairs, waiting expectantly to hear why she had come.
