He wasn't really sure what was happening, but he told Tyki that it's from 'that woman - no the other one - yeah that one' and Tyki said something about alien abductions, which made Kane even more worried. After reassuring Kane a dozen times that he'd call the police if Kane didn't report to him in the next 48 hours, he felt a little bit better about it.
He was still kind of scared but once Tyki more or less kicked him through the door, there was no turning back.
At least there were no cloaked Gregorian chanters on the grass or epic cinematic alien orchestra to send him running in the opposite direction.
Tentatively he stepped into the tent... and was relieved, in strange ways, that there was at least one familiar face here, and no three-eyed green... bipedal... slugs with legs.
