((ogod so sorry, life/new job critted me for over 9k))
It wasn't offensive to find Susannah wrapped up in the serious business of her play. Not in the least in fact, she delighted in it, the imaginative works of a child's mind was one of the things she missed most about.. about.. something. She didn't want to think too deeply about that though, and instead she tilted her head casually. "Can I help then?" offered and asked at the same time. There was no way she was going to leave Susannah alone, and in truth, she enjoyed spending time with the little girl for reasons she didn't understand, felt a bond that was most peculiar.
"I thought flying horses only drank single malt whiskey?" she asked with an arced brow and a lopsided smile. Then she looked back towards the area of the castle and the little boy over there. "Hrm, got to keep the troll cages out of the light, some kinds of trolls turn to stone in sunlight." She shifted and tucked her hands into her back pockets, chattering quite happily at the child but not making any more movements to stop or slow down her progress.
She had not seen Skoll, though she did feel something nearby. maybe he wasn't far then, keeping an eye on Susannah from the edge of the park, some shade somewhere. She frowned a bit in thought, then glanced back and met Hati's eyes on her. That frown only increased, she didn't know who he was, didn't recognize him... and didn't want to be leered at by random taxi drivers hanging around playgrounds.
Susannah hadn't answered whether or not she was alone, and like hell was Solange going to leave that question, or the girl, while it was unanswered.
