She'd take strange. It was better then crazy, boring or frakked up any day of the week. And they were having a good time despite the snow, the slips and the fact that it was cold enough to make their noses turn red and their breath to freeze.
"No one would hear you over the traffic and cursing if you tried." She offered a grin, feeling elated as she glanced down at the valley below them. They weren't on top of the world but they had managed to escape one of the busiest parts of it. Spreading her arms Karen took a deep breath and savored the sharp inhalation of cold air. It reminded her of home and there was a fleeting moment of displacement as she let her arms drop to her sides.
