Who:Internet, Cyber Warfare What:Internet's demonstration that he can make good on his offer When: After the phone call Where:Internet's luxurious apartment
Internet was starting to think Jane wouldn't come. Started to doubt himself and his conviction that he'd caught her attention and enlisted her help. To be truthful, his offer was much more valuable than the work he wanted her to do. Of course he could stop Google himself. But the point was to keep him from being able to trace it back to his father. He didn't trust Jane to not just straight up tell Google about his request, and that was why his offer had to be a good one. One that she really wanted, and that he could take away if she betrayed him.
When something thudded against his front door, he waved his hand and the servant about to automatically answer it disappeared in a digital blot out effect. He stepped up to the door himself and systematically unlocked it. Although his apartment had its own elevator entrance to his main foyer, the door to the actual apartment he kept securely locked at all times. The security guard downstairs had been told Jane would be coming. He'd given the big man a brief description of what Jane looked like, not completely sure himself, but telling him to watch for a pissed off dark haired woman.
The last lock came undone and he pulled the door open, leaning against it with his arms folded as he took a long look at her, "Jane." he smirked.
