Iris' dress had started out white, but at the moment it was a festive red. Her mask, a perfectly fitted one with ribbons and jewels and feathers adorning it, matched perfectly. Both would probably change colour again later, but only if and when she thought it wouldn't give her away. A masquerade was great fun, and something of a challenge, as well. Despite the masks and the amount of people here, she wanted to meet a great many new people.....and add their names to the list she constantly updated in her head.
The glass of champagne she held in her hand was more for show than anything else....without someone she could be sure would watch out for her, Iris wasn't going to be drinking much. Of course, that meant she was free to find other things to distract her, and other people were always a good answer to that. Having made a quick tour of the room, Iris had found her way back up the stairs, and when she saw someone she didn't know looking over the room much as she had when she'd entered, she couldn't help but smile.
"It looks like it might be quite the party, doesn't it?"
