It was all very grand and exciting and Kane could barely contain himself, flitting from one piece of art to another like a sparrow on steroids, marvelling at everything - all this work that went into one very pretty little girl - and he wondered if he'd actually get to see her in person; the Grecian source of his inspiration.
He was a bit embarrassed actually to send in his painting - it was so bland, paled in comparison to everything else up here! - but there it was, complete with butterflies and sea shells, and he purposely avoided it like there was a force field preventing him from going within a two metre radius of his submission.
Tyki was lost somewhere in the throng of people - oh my god so many people - but Kane knew he'd eventually find him again moving against the crowd so it wasn't that big of a worry.
