End your grief with me - there's another way. Who: Leviathan (_gatekeeper_) and Uriel (divinefire) What: Give up; you can't run from me. Where: Somewhere along the bible belt. When: Early Wednesday morning. Warnings: None
When the Hounds started circling, Leviathan already knew where Uriel was. He did not make a habit out of tailing angels or looking for confrontation when he surfaced, but this was home business to take care of. And angels were usually good at hiding from them when they tried.
Uriel, however, smelled like Hellfire. And anything that smelled like Hellfire couldn't escape Leviathan's grasp.
He would have normally made quick business out of it. Move in, pin down, extract Hellfire, walk off - simple.
Lucifer, however, had other plans, and it wasn't Leviathan's place to question. Made things a little more difficult, but so long as there was Hellfire inside the holy vessel, he could drag it down to Hell simply by touching him; take care of it down there if he had to.
Hopefully, he didn't have to.
Following the dissipating trail of Hellfire like a thin silk thread, when he finally caught up with Uriel, he wasted no time; materialising before him, inches away from his face, grabbing the angel's wrist.
If he attempted to make another jump, Leviathan was going to lose his patience and rip off one of those wings only the two of them could see.
