She laughed softly at that. "You've come across so many from home but you don't consider yourself popular? You're too modest!"
Normally Psyche would have asked who "those two," were, but there was another name distracting her far more. Aphrodite. Aphrodite was here. Years had passed and old grudges had cooled (she hoped), but she still felt old worry rise up at the thought of her mother in law. If Ares was watching very, very closely, he might have noticed Psyche sat up a little bit straighter, taking a deeper breath. Otherwise, though, she tried to remain attentive as usual.
