"Your fiance will make sure you're a legal citizen of the United States, don't worry." Mark slipped his feet into his shoes which were luckily still the right size. "I'll get you a social security number next week, and if you don't mind changing again we can get your passport and drivers license expedited, and bank accounts and all that. It really shouldn't take that long."
Mark swiped the house keys off of the small table next to the door. He eyed the small white house alarm that sat on the wall next to the door, but didn't bother touching it as he didn't know the codes yet. "Have you ever been to Chicago with Layla?" He asked, handing Glibt the coat he'd come in with. It was unseasonably warm in the city, but for Chicago that still meant a coat was necessary. Mark slipped into his and pulled open the door.
"This is a nice neighborhood, like I said. The school's really close, and I think there're a lot of families. We'll have real neighbors-- probably ones that actually want to be social, not like in New York," he laughed.
