"Or maybe," Mark countered, leaning over to return the kiss. "We'll go out more. Wasn't that half the point when we stopped stopped living in secret? Being able to go out in public? I've been so busy that it's hardly mattered aside from big events. It seems like it's been awhile since we just went to a diner and got a burger-- or, well, pizza, now that we're in Chicago." Even if it wasn't just him and Glibt, it would be a good way to spend time with Thomas.
"Well, we can save the wedding wear for next weekend, because as much as I dread it, I can admit that I need pants that fit and this kitchen needs a coffee maker. Stat." The aid who'd found the house had taken his orders of 'unfurnished' quite literally. There were beds, a kitchen table, a few chairs, a stove, and a fridge, but other than that they were on their own. "Even though I don't want you to have to travel with me here to spend time with me, I want you to feel good here when you do, even if it's just until April. So I guess we should get that done soon."
Besides, the both of them waking up tomorrow sans coffee maker would just produce hell on earth for the both of them and anyone they happened to see that day.
"And if we get clothes now, we can go out for dinner and you could meet Rahm, and finally see how much we do not flirt with each other." Mark nudged Glibt's shoulder playfully before standing up again.
