Ariadne didn't exactly relish the idea of coming home. It was asif she was admitting defeat, admitting that she needed Dionysus. But she would make due with being in the same city as him. She wouldn't go crawling back to him, ignoring his faults and being willing to ignore how cruel he could be. It felt like giving up her humanity by just turning a blind eye. And she knew he was doing something to Kyle, and she wanted to keep the poor boy out of Dionysus' hands.
With a sigh she settled her bag on the bench beside her, letting herself relax a little as she waited for Kyle. She knew she could trust Kyle in not telling Dionysus that she was back. True she was being childish, but no one said she had to constantly be the mature one. Perhaps she should mention why she was mad at her husband, to her husband but she was being stubborn about it. But she wouldn't worry about that right now. Right now she was going to worry about spending time with her friend, and getting lunch.
