Orpheus wasn't entirely sure he was in the right place, but that didn't stop him from knocking at the door. He'd left his guitar in a locker at the bus station and then gone to pick up a few bottles of alcohol and the other request that Ares had asked to have filled. He'd almost stopped twice on the way and decided not to make the delivery after all. For one, Ares had sounded drunk already from his messages, as much as you could tell through typed lines. And second, of course, having any contact with those in his own pantheon usually made Orpheus look for the nearest escape route.
Ares had been kind to him on the street the other day, though, and Orpheus had been serious about his mother's affection for the God. It didn't feel exactly like a duty to see that he was comfortable, but Orpheus did still have some respect for the Gods and things he had respected as a man. So, he'd come. And now he knocked on the door, hoping it belonged to Ares, and bearing a brown paper bag with three bottles that weren't, like his usual purchases, the cheapest the liquor store had had to offer. Whiskey, Vodka, Bourbon. He hadn't been sure what Ares' choice of poison would be.
