"Sounds fair." Glibt replied, letting his voice sound cheery even though he wasn't precisely looking forward to the tension that would probably occur with Mark and Harvey spending more than a few seconds in a room together. He stood, squeezing Mark's hand lightly; he would remain connected to his fiance that way, holding hands, if that would make the situation better. Pressing a light kiss to Mark's cheek, he turned to Thomas, who was absolutely beaming as he jumped up from the bed, grabbing his laptop.
"Great!" He said happily, smiling thankfully at Glibt for a moment before leading the way back out into the living room, knowing that the time it took for them to all have a cup of coffee would be a tad tense and stilted, but it would be progress. Really, he just wanted everyone he cared about to get along and everyone who would be in the living room definitely fell into that category for a variety of reasons.
Leading them back out into the living room, his grin was wide, happy, and open as he looked between Harvey and Bret. "Everything's fine and they're staying for a quick cup of coffee, if that's okay with you, Harv." Glibt smirked lightly at Harvey from his place at Mark's side, brushing his thumb gently over the back of Mark's hand. "And if it's not, he'll use the trembling lower lip tactic on you too." Joking to diffuse any possible tension, Glibt kept an easy smile on his face and his nerves bottled up tightly. "Let's just hope he never decides to use his power for evil."
Thomas scrunched up his nose at Glibt in protest. "I have no plans for world domination, Papa, don't worry." He took Glibt's hand, the one that wasn't holding one of Mark's, and tugged lightly, aiming to lead them over to the L-shaped couch to sit with him.
