Thomas couldn't help but giggle when Paul spoke up from the bedroom and Glibt had to hide an amused smile behind his hand as he regarded Thomas, glad that the godling seemed happy, particularly with what had happened during that disastrous dinner, particularly now that Marijuana and Heroin's marriage had dissolved. Thomas just looked between the three immortals, happy that it didn't seem to be too tense, happy that Mark had been able to put aside the jealousy Thomas was sure his father felt regarding Glibt and Harvey's past, happy that Mark was there to apologize for his part in what had happened. That didn't mean he wasn't nervous, though.
"It is really good to be here." Thomas confirmed Harvey's words, still smiling, the expression still carrying that nervous edge. "I'm getting all my homework done promptly, my room's really nice, and I get to help with dinner sometimes. And with supervision, I don't burn anything!" Thomas was doing his best to maintain his usually bubbly, energetic nature, the nature that everyone seemed to think was adorable. Only at that moment, all he could feel was his nerves and his giddy words were mainly for show, to further diffuse the situation.
His smile faltered a bit when Mark seemed to imply that there was more stuff they needed to talk about, other than what had happened on that ill-fated date. Mark and Glibt weren't breaking up too, were they? Thomas sneaked a look at Glibt's left hand briefly; the engagement ring was still on his Papa's ring finger, so maybe not. The smile returned, perhaps a bit too bright to be completely genuine. "Sure! I can show you my room and... if you just give me a moment to get my laptop, I can show you the furniture I've already picked out, after we talk about all the... stuff." Turning away, he slipped back to the couch, pressing a quick, thankful kiss to the corner of Bret's mouth - yes, in front of Mark, Thomas was dating Bret and his parents needed to accept that - before taking back his laptop.
Nimble fingers nixed the window that showed a particular piece of furniture that Thomas was considering, the godling murmured quiet thanks to Bret for managing to balance his computer before heading back to Mark and Glibt. "Come on, I'll show you! It's really nice, with a big window that lets a lot of light stream in. And it doesn't smell like weed all the time, like my place at Dad's did."
